Terms of Use

Last updated: 16 June 2026

These terms govern your use of randompianochords.com (“the site”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

The service

Random Piano Chords is a free, browser-based tool for practising musical chords, progressions, and playing patterns. It is provided for personal, educational, and non-commercial use. No account or payment is required.

It is a practice aid, not a substitute for a qualified music teacher, and the harmonic suggestions and explanations are offered for learning and inspiration — there is no single “correct” way to use a chord.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Intellectual property

The site’s design, text, code, and original content are owned by the site operator and provided for your personal use. You’re welcome to use what you learn here in your own playing, teaching, and music — musical knowledge itself (chords, scales, progressions) is not owned by anyone. Please don’t republish the site’s pages or copy substantial portions of its text as your own.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We don’t guarantee that the information is error-free or that the site will always be online.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site. As the service is free, any direct liability is limited to the amount you paid to use it — which is nothing.

Third-party services

The site uses Google Analytics (loaded only with your consent) and is delivered by a third-party hosting provider. Your use of those services through the site is also subject to their respective terms. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Changes, governing law & contact

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. These terms are governed by the laws of [your country / jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions? Contact randompianochords@gmail.com.
